Golf de Châlons-en-Champagne

Grande Romanie is a physical 18-hole course, par 72, measuring 6145 metres. A long exposed Champagne inland-links course where wind, rough and demanding greens define the test.

The Châlons club developed Grande Romanie at Courtisols as a full course for the Champagne plain, with active competition and a separate pitch and putt. Broad open horizons provide little wind shelter. Seasonal rough can become penal and weather strongly changes the experience.

Four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives include several holes beyond 500 metres. Wind direction changes lines and club selection. FFGolf publishes 6,145 metres, par 72, men’s SSS 73. 2 and Slope 131. The nines measure 3,050 and 3,095 metres.
