Golf de Bussy-Guermantes

La Jonchère is Bussy-Guermantes’ main course, a par 72 open to the Marne-la-Vallée countryside and structured by mounds, four lakes and a demanding finish.

Golf developed in the early 1990s during Marne-la-Vallée expansion. Jean-Manuel Rossi and Michel Gayon are associated with the 27-hole complex. La Jonchère became a major eastern Paris sporting club and regular Grand Prix venue. The seventy-five-hectare estate lies twenty-five minutes from Paris. Fairways are mainly flat, while wooded mounds, water and raised greens create relief. RER access makes the venue unusually convenient.

Fairways are readable, but elevated tees and especially raised greens require depth control. Four lakes enter play. Holes sixteen to eighteen form the local Amen Corner with constant water pressure. The club publishes 6,111 metres and par 72. Championship length combines with mounds and elevated greens. Accuracy becomes essential on the aquatic finish.

Bussy opens year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54.
