Besançon

Besançon is a 6,016-metre par 72 by Michael Fenn on the first Jura plateau at around 430 metres altitude.

Opened in 1968 at La Chevillotte, the course matured into one of Franche-Comté’s historic member clubs with competition and academy culture. Around two hundred hectares combine varied tree species, meadow and open plateau sectors in a quiet gently rolling environment.

Doglegs, trees, bunkers and elevation reward position. Varied lengths require the full bag. Federation sources publish 6,016 metres, par 72 and men’s Slope around 134.
