Golf d’Apremont

Apremont is a long 6,395-metre Anglo-Saxon parkland, elegant and readable, where apparently broad fairways conceal constant positional decisions.

The course was created on a 120-hectare estate within the Chantilly-Senlis-Roissy triangle. John Jacobs, a major British teaching and design figure, worked with Olivier Dongradi on a powerful layout without excessive artificial effects. The club became an important northern Paris venue and later joined UGOLF. Golf occupies around eighty hectares of woodland and open estate. The front nine is more tree-divided with numerous doglegs, while the back nine becomes straighter and more exposed. Draining ground and Oise woodland support year-round play.

Apremont relies on strategic simplicity. Only two major water hazards appear, but bunkers, trees and angles create constant choice. Fairways are broad, yet the preferred landing zone is not always central. Long approaches require solid striking and control on large greens. FFGolf publishes 6,395 metres, par 72, Course Rating 73. 1 and Slope 134 from the back tees. The front nine measures 3,157 metres and the back 3,238. Several par fours exceed 400 metres and par fives require power, while multiple tees preserve playability.

Apremont opens year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54. Facilities include practice, restaurant, seminars, wellness and buggies.
