Bertichères is a Vexin château course among beech and oak forest, large valleys and historic views around a property shaped by centuries of French history.

Golf developed within Château de Bertichères park near Chaumont-en-Vexin. Château and outbuildings were converted for hotel, dining and sport. The course became the centre of a country club combining golf, tennis, equestrian activity and hospitality while preserving strong heritage. The routing crosses Vexin countryside of beech and oak woods, valleys, meadow and château views. Elevation is stronger than on many Paris-area courses. Climbs and descents alter distance and create very different sequences between open holes and forest corridors.

Architecture makes strong use of topography. Some tees overlook fairways, while other holes climb towards defended greens. Trees structure lines and demand the correct side. Bunkers and side slopes increase the frequency of uneven-lie shots. Club and federation sources publish an 18-hole par 72. The test relies more on elevation and accuracy than raw length.

The country club opens year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54. It offers seventeen château rooms, restaurant, heated outdoor pool, tennis, equestrian centre, seminars, practice and buggies.
