The course unfolds in the heart of Arenberg Park, amidst ponds, canals, meadows, and oak trees, some of which are several centuries old. The landscape heritage lends great visual depth to the site.

The Enghien Golf Club was founded in 1992 within the historic park of the château. An initial limited layout was gradually expanded. Bruno Steensels designed nine modern holes, which opened in the early 2000s, then completed the entire course to form an eighteen-hole layout, inaugurated in its current configuration in 2015.

Steensels created undulating fairways, large sculpted bunkers, and several shots around the water features of the Warelle, the Odru, and the canal. The modern design respects the ancient trees and the park's vistas.

The course is long and quite open, but water and bunkers sharply define the playing areas. The greens are large and require good control of depth.

The clubhouse occupies La Chaumière and the park's old stables. The club also offers the compact Brunehault nine-hole course and regularly welcomes visitors.
