History
Raymond Battas and local golfers launched the project in the mid-1980s, founding the sporting association in 1985. The course opened in 1989 and became a major Indre competition venue. Sixty hectares near Châteauroux combine the Trégonce, mature cedar and oak, meadow, woodland and water on gently rolling ground.
Architecture
Four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives use forty-three bunkers and protected large greens as the principal defence. FFGolf publishes 6,132 metres, par 72, men’s SSS 71. 9 and Slope 134. Some older Golfy pages list 6,227 metres.
Club experience
