Golf Club de Strasbourg

Rouge 9 Holes is a physical 9-hole, par-36 course measuring 2940 metres. Its identity comes from narrower fairways, strong tree presence and demanding tee-shot precision.

The course belongs to Golf Club de Strasbourg. Red is one of the three physical loops developed since the club’s 1935 foundation and received improvement work in 2019. The recorded design reference is Évolutions historiques du Golf Club de Strasbourg. Sporting activity, coaching and visitor services developed around the layout without erasing its original character. The course occupies a more enclosed wooded sector of the flat Illkirch estate. Trees narrow perspectives and create a more intimate feel than Yellow. Season, wind, moisture and vegetation can change effective distance and playing conditions.

The design challenge combines three par fives, driving corridors, bunkers and greens where poor position creates difficult putting. Landing-zone choice and approach angle matter more than automatic power. The retained reference is 2940 metres and par 36. The White-Red card gives 2,940 metres and par 36 for Red. Red remains a separate physical loop even when combined daily with White or Yellow. Forward tees preserve accessibility while back tees reveal the full test.
