At a glance
Gaillon is a 2,850-metre par-35 nine-hole course, playable year-round on draining ground and complete enough for beginners and experienced golfers.
History
The club developed at Les Artaignes as a local member facility in the Seine valley. Affordable nine-hole golf, daily access, junior coaching and professional teaching built a stable community.
The course lies in the Eure between Gaillon, Vernon and Les Andelys. Draining parkland, planting and gentle contour provide quiet rural golf.
Architecture
Par 35 and 2,850 metres create a full mixture of par threes, fours and fives. Practice and short-game areas support the required shots.
FFGolf publishes 2,850 metres and par 35. Played twice, the course becomes 5,700 metres and par 70. Drainage supports winter play.
Club experience
The club opens year-round seven days a week, with covered illuminated practice, short game, buggies, trolleys, club hire and coaching. Visitors up to handicap 54 are accepted.
