Golf Club de Cabourg Le Home

Cabourg Le Home is a unique century-old course divided between coastal dunes and marshland bocage, with an unusual par-69 rhythm.

The course opened on 7 July 1907 to a Lane Jackson design. Harry Colt added true dune links holes in 1910. After wartime destruction and a 1954 reconstruction, Olivier Brizon-supported expansion returned the course to eighteen holes in 1987. The opening section occupies Divette marsh and Normandy bocage, while the closing holes cross Varaville dunes beside the beach. The sixteenth offers a wide Channel panorama.

The routing mixes very short and long holes, including three consecutive par threes at fourteen to sixteen, reachable par fours and water-influenced marsh par fives. The club publishes par 69 and a maximum length around 5,250 metres. The detailed yellow card totals 4,997 metres, illustrating tee variation.
