Golf Club d’Ableiges

Les Étangs is Ableiges’ main course, a long technical par 72 winding around fifteen hectares of woodland among water, bunkers and rolling fairways.

Golf Club d’Ableiges was developed in the late 1980s within the Vexin Français. Jean Garaïalde and Jérémy Pern created two complementary courses: Les Étangs for sporting golf and Le Vexin for development. The course lies in the Vexin regional park around thirty minutes from Paris. It circles fifteen hectares of woodland where deer are often seen. Water, meadow and gentle contour alternate.

Long par fours, four par fives and water- or bunker-defended par threes form the design. Fairways can appear broad, but preferred zones are narrower. Water carries and compact greens reward precise iron play. The club publishes 6,340 metres and par 72, making Ableiges one of the more substantial courses northwest of Paris. Trees, sand and water increase the challenge.

The club opens year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54.
