At a glance
Le Vexin is Ableiges’ genuine nine-hole course, a 2,145-metre par 33 designed for development but complete enough for experienced golfers.
History
Created alongside Les Étangs, Le Vexin is central to the club’s learning pathway. It brings beginners onto the course quickly, supports short member rounds and gives experienced players real-course practice. A true par five and narrow greens distinguish it from a basic academy loop. The loop shares the estate’s wooded rolling landscape in a more compact sector. A water feature structures several views, while trees and contour maintain a natural atmosphere.
Architecture
Par threes, fours and a genuine par five are combined. Relatively narrow greens require depth control, while water and bunkers introduce position choices without intimidation. FFGolf publishes 2,145 metres and par 33. Played twice, Le Vexin becomes a 4,290-metre par-66 round. Length is accessible but greens and water still demand accuracy.
Club experience
Le Vexin opens year-round with a separate green fee and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54. It shares range, dining and club services. 9 holes; par 33; 2,145 metres; Jean Garaïalde and Jérémy Pern; water feature; true par five; narrow greens; independent development course.
