At a glance
Centre Manche is a genuine nine-hole par 36 within the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, measuring 2,814 metres from white tees and shaped by wind, water and open natural space.
History
The club developed across a protected sixty-hectare site to provide complete local golf while preserving nature. Member competition, junior coaching and a family culture grew around a loop normally played twice for official rounds.
The course lies in the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes regional park. Flat open ground, ponds, ditches, wetlands, apple trees and century-old oaks create a distinctly Norman setting where wind is central.
Architecture
Two par threes, five par fours and two par fives form the card. The third begins the local Amen Corner, while large greens, visible bunkers and water require position.
The club card publishes 2,814 metres from white tees, 2,696 from yellow and par 36. Played twice, the course reaches 5,628 metres and par 72.
Club experience
Year-round golf, covered and grass practice, dining, changing rooms, buggies, coaching and open competition support a friendly nature-focused club.
