At a glance
Marolles-en-Brie is a short wooded technical course crossed by the Réveillon river and developed through the extension of a charming original nine holes.
History
The golf began as one of the region’s respected nine-hole courses. Nine contrasting but complementary holes were later added to create the closest 18-hole course to Paris while preserving a family atmosphere.
The course lies around twenty kilometres from Paris on the Val-de-Marne and Seine-et-Marne border. The wooded valley front nine contrasts with a more open return.
Architecture
Short length is offset by narrow fairways, doglegs, close trees and compact greens. Numerous par threes and only two par fives make irons more useful than driver.
FFGolf publishes 4,527 metres, par 67, men’s SSS 63. 8 and Slope 119. The nines measure 2,244 and 2,283 metres.
Club experience
The club opens year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54 with licence and Green Card. Practice, dining, changing rooms, buggies and Bluegreen coaching support the friendly site.
