Geography & setting
The estate is situated near Casares, nestled between the rolling Andalusian hills and the Mediterranean Sea. Olive groves, native vegetation, valleys, and expansive vistas shape the landscape.
History
Finca Cortesín unveiled its championship course in the mid-2000s, designed by Cabell B. Robinson. The venue has repeatedly hosted the Volvo World Match Play Championship and, most recently, the 2023 Solheim Cup.

The course is long, physically demanding, and seamlessly integrated into a luxurious resort setting. Changes in elevation provide each hole with a distinct character.
