Les Dryades

Les Dryades is a 6,120-metre par-72 resort course by Michel Gayon in Berry’s Vallée Noire, with sixteen water hazards and varied elevation.

The Dryades project grew in the early 1980s from plans by Maurice Vedy, Antonio Amengual and artist Mick Micheyl into a four-star hotel, dining, seminar, spa and golf resort opened in 1987. Rolling green Berry countryside, woodland, meadow, ponds and manor views support abundant birdlife and rarely flat fairways.

Sixteen water hazards, broad fairways and large greens create visual comfort but strategic approach pressure. The eighteenth is a demanding water-influenced finish. Historical sources publish approximately 6,120 to 6,124 metres and par 72. Yellow tees measure around 5,811 metres with Slope near 125.
