Costa Adeje — Pepe Gancedo transforming former banana terraces into Atlantic golf

The course dominates the southwest coast of Tenerife, with dry stone walls, ancient agricultural terraces, and ocean views.

Opened in 1998, Costa Adeje was designed by Pepe Gancedo on old agricultural terraces.

Dry-stone walls, broad fairways, natural elevation and ocean views preserve the site’s Canarian identity.

The layout is playable but very exposed to the wind, with several holes offering grand views of the Atlantic.

The club features twenty-seven holes, a driving range, an academy, and facilities suitable for visitors and competitions.

Opened in 1998; designed by Pepe Gancedo; built on former banana plantations; host of the 2003 Spanish Open.
