Commonwealth Golf Club

Championship Course is part of Victoria's golfing heritage and reflects the development of golf around Oakleigh South. Constituted in 1920, Commonwealth began with work by Sam Bennett. Charles Lane developed the architecture after studying with Harry Colt, Sloan Morpeth rebuilt greens and bunkers in the 1930s, and Renaissance Golf recently restored the course.

The course utilizes its sandbelt environment to organize angles, hazards, and green attacks. The course has 18 holes, a par 73, and measures approximately 6230 meters from the championship tees.

The club combines public-access opportunities with a strong championship tradition.
