Cabourg Golf Public

Cabourg Public is a genuine 2,942-metre par-36 nine-hole course, flat, accessible and built on drained former marshland at the resort entrance.

The course opened in June 1988 through the town of Cabourg and former mayor Michel Moles. Olivier Brizon created a public loop to broaden access. Major drainage work from 1994 resolved early winter problems. The site occupies former marsh south of Cabourg. Flat open ground leaves wind, streams and water as the principal natural factors, while planting gradually defines fairways.

Two par threes, five par fours and two par fives include a water-influenced second and a long narrow seventh. Several doglegs require position. The course measures 2,942 metres from white tees and par 36, or 2,565 metres from red. Played twice it becomes 5,884 metres and par 72.

The golf opens year-round with mandatory booking and shares management with Cabourg Le Home.
