History
Brussels Drohme Golf Club was founded in 1988 within the historic Boitsfort racecourse. The property later evolved into a multifunctional park combining nature, sport, heritage and dining. The redesigned course is now one of Europe’s more unusual urban golf settings.
The course lies in a Natura 2000 zone bordered by century-old beech trees and historic buildings. Despite proximity to central Brussels, the setting feels like an enclosed natural park.
Architecture
The nine-hole par 29 course is short but technical. Several holes are par threes with compact greens, trees and precise lines. A broad shot repertoire matters more than power.
The course measures 1,551 metres from the men’s tees and 1,376 metres from the women’s tees. It is an excellent short-game venue while retaining enough variety for experienced players.
Club experience
The club welcomes visitors seven days a week. Facilities include a large TrackMan Range driving facility, practice greens, restaurant and conference space.
