Brasschaat Open Golf & Country Club

Brasschaat Open Golf’s main course is a genuine Paul Rolin nine-hole par 36, playable as eighteen holes through different tee combinations.

Belgian architect Paul Rolin designed the course in 1990. From the outset, the club aimed to welcome both beginners and experienced golfers. The main course developed a strong national reputation and was voted Belgium’s best nine-hole course in 2023. The property occupies a wooded Brasschaat setting. Tree-lined fairways, water and open sections provide constant contrast. Relatively flat ground is easy to walk, while woodland provides partial wind shelter.

The nine holes comprise two par threes, five par fours and two par fives. Fairways are narrow, water and bunkers are strategically placed, and multiple tee sets differentiate a second circuit. The ninth is a long par four of about 390 metres. The course plays to par 36. Played twice from different tee combinations, it forms a full par-72 round. Difficulty comes from position, trees and water rather than elevation.

Visitors are welcomed with a handicap certificate. Facilities include 46 covered illuminated range bays, putting and chipping greens, buggy rental, changing rooms, bar and restaurant terrace.
