Bernardus — Kyle Phillips’s championship heathland designed as a complete experience

The course is located in Cromvoirt, North Brabant, on terrain re-imagined as heathland, featuring low dunes, heather, gorse, water features, and expansive vistas.

Bernardus was developed by Bernardus Marinus 'Ben' Pon and Robert van der Wallen. Construction began in 2017, and the course opened shortly thereafter, designed by Kyle Phillips. It has hosted the Dutch Open in 2021 and 2022, the KLM Open in 2023, and is set to host the Solheim Cup in 2026.

Phillips designed generous fairways divided by elegant bunkers, open greens allowing multiple lines of play, and water hazards seamlessly integrated into the landscape. The course appears calm and natural despite its very contemporary construction.

The par 72 offers multiple lines of play and a great variety of lengths. The quality of the playing surfaces and practice facilities meets the standards of the DP World Tour.

Bernardus operates as a complete destination: day membership, an eight-room lodge, an academy, premium practice facilities, a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, tennis courts, and gourmet dining.
