Amsterdam Old Course preserves nine holes of a 1935 Colt, Alison & Morrison design in a dense metropolitan setting.
History
Originally an 18-hole course, it lost land to road and railway development after the Amsterdamse Golf Club moved. Frank Pont restored the surviving layout between 2012 and 2018, improving drainage and recovering classic design features.
Architecture
Diagonal bunkering, strategic width and carefully defended greens reflect the original Colt principles. Raised greens now address the difficult peat soils.
Club experience
Visitors are welcomed during defined periods. The thatched 1934 clubhouse and compact historic setting create a distinctive urban golf experience.
