At a glance
La Haute Drève is Saint-Omer’s technical nine-hole course, a rolling par 31 suited to beginners but varied enough for experienced players.
History
La Haute Drève was created with the Saint-Omer complex in the early 1990s. It serves as a development course, an independent member loop and a complement to Le Val. The club offers dedicated nine-hole subscriptions.
The course shares the rolling wooded Aa valley landscape. Holes climb and descend between forest and clearings. It is more compact than Le Val but retains strong natural character.
Architecture
The design uses technical par threes and fours, defended greens and varied angles. It is not simply pitch and putt: tee shots, irons and strategy are all required.
Published length is about 2,038 metres and par 31. Rating sources list approximately 2,018 metres from yellow tees. Elevation and greens make the course more demanding than its length.
Club experience
La Haute Drève shares Le Val’s hotel, restaurant, practice, academy and wellness area. It suits quick rounds, beginners, families and focused training.
9 holes; par 31; about 2,038 metres; technical development course; dedicated subscription; full resort facilities.
